It is becoming clear what Kamala Harris intends to do.
She has always been one of the most anti-gun politicians in the country.
And now a bombshell report shows just how far she is apparently willing to go.
Kamala Harris is not a friend to gun owners, to put it mildly. Ever since she was the district attorney in San Francisco, she has routinely and consistently attacked the Second Amendment.
There’s no reason to believe that is going to change if she is elected to the White House, although she has tried to moderate her tone on gun issues during the campaign.
Journalists have dug up her old statements and actions on guns to show just how extreme they are and demonstrate to gun owners that she is not a trustworthy candidate.
There is no indication that Harris has had a genuine change of heart and given up the liberal views that she held in the recent past.
And one bombshell report revealed how likely it is that Harris is going to pursue an extreme anti-gun agenda if she is elected to the White House in the November election.
According to The Truth About Guns, “Vice President Kamala Harris is giving up the trade secrets. If she gets elected, she wouldn’t change a thing. She laid it out in one soft-pitch interview and when asked in a later made-for-television event, she went mum. Guess that means she thinks things are just fine.”
The context in which she made these statements was not specifically about guns, but the article goes on to look at her past record when it comes to the Second Amendment.
Gun owners will not be shocked to hear that her record isn’t good.
The article continues, “Here’s what ‘nothing comes to mind’ means for the firearm industry. It means more punishing ‘zero-tolerance’ policies by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The agency tasked with regulating the industry would instead continue to be used as hammer to drive licensees out of business. The Biden-Harris administration hasn’t hoped to do this. They have done with dismaying results. Earlier this year, ATF published data that showed license revocations nearly doubled in 2024 from a year before and 88 federal firearms licenses were surrendered rather than spending the time, effort, money and legal consequences of fighting the Washington, D.C., bureau.
“‘More of the same’ for the firearm industry by Vice President Harris means allegations and dodging by The White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention when they get caught red-handed colluding with gun control billionaire Micheal Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety to bring frivolous lawsuits against firearm manufacturers.”
Harris apparently intends to continue Joe Biden’s policies across the board, which one can assume includes guns.
Since Biden has been an extremely unfriendly president to gun owners, Harris should be expected to continue that hostility.
It is unfortunate that these two have such antipathy towards the Second Amendment, a core constitutional freedom, but gun owners will surely not be surprised to hear it.
