One historic vote went extremely badly for Joe Biden.

His dreams of a nationwide gun grab went up in flames.

Now Joe Biden is reeling from his embarrassing loss.

Election results around the country are pouring in, and they do not look good for Democrats under the leadership of Joe Biden.

They signal a major defeat for the party in 2024 that could force Biden out of office and kill their dreams of nationwide gun confiscation.

Louisiana has been under the rule of a Democrat governor since 2016, and Democrats hoped they could retain their control of the state.

The state has a “jungle primary” system, and they hoped they could have a strong showing in the first round of the vote, and then square off with the Republicans and defeat them in the general election.

But the jungle primary went so badly for Democrats that the leading Republican candidate simply won outright by getting more than 50% of the vote, making him the official governor-elect of the state.

According to NBC News, “Democrats’ two-term hold on the governorship of Louisiana will come to an end next year after Republican state Attorney General Jeff Landry won the seat Saturday by capturing a majority in an all-party primary.

“Landry had more than 51% of the vote when The Associated Press called the race after 11 p.m. ET, running far ahead on a ballot that featured 16 candidates, including Democrats, independents and Republicans.

“The victory precedes two more red state governor’s elections this fall, including one in which Republicans hope to flip a seat. Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky is seeking a second term on Nov. 7, while Republican Gov. Tate Reeves is doing the same in Mississippi.”

Furthermore, it appears that Landry, the newly elected governor in Louisiana, will be a strong supporter of gun rights when he is sworn in.

The National Association for Gun Rights posted on their Twitter account: “Gov. Elect Jeff Landry filled out his candidate survey 100% Pro-Gun and has been a vocal supporter of Constitutional Carry. We can’t wait to make Louisiana the 28th Constitutional Carry state with your help, Governor!”

And in the “Values” section on Landry’s website, he says: “In Congress and as Attorney General, Jeff Landry fought and won countless battles to defend our Second Amendment rights. Because Jeff understands these rights ‘shall not be infringed.’”

This is a huge victory for the gun rights movement, as it seems like Landry will be an ally in the fight to make Louisiana a Constitutional Carry state, which is long overdue.

And it is yet another sign that Democrats’ grip on power is slipping nationally, and that Joe Biden might be in some trouble next year.

Democrats should heed these results and stop their efforts to take away the Second Amendment rights of American citizens, or face losing more of these elections.

Second Amendment supporters are not going away quietly. They are fighting for their rights at the ballot box and making their voices heard.
