THE RECEIVER & BARREL
The heart of the FoldAR® and Double FoldAR® is the patented folding upper that gives you the highest level of concealability possible without sacrificing any areas of performance, reliability, weight, or safety. The barrel and receiver use mating cones to keep things accurate, and they’re locked in place using a steel hook and lever. The bolt carrier group is a Bootleg, Inc. model with four-way adjustable gas block. This modified bolt carrier group is designed to allow the shooter to fire the Double FoldAR while the stock is folded! The barrels come in a 1:7 twist and are constructed of 4150 alloy steel with a black nitride melonite coating.
FOLDAR & DOUBLE FOLDAR
The FoldAR folds at the receiver only, while the Double FoldAR also folds at the stock by using a Dead Foot Arms folding stock. Pistol versions are supplied with FoldAR’s new pistol stabilizing brace in order to be compliant with NFA regulations. All Double FoldAR® firearms are supplied with a tactical side-pack to fit the FoldAR® line of double-folding firearms.
