Texas Senator and all-around RINO John Cornyn wants to be Senate Majority leader so badly, he’s willing to give up YOUR gun rights to the Democrats! He claims to have gun owner interests in mind, but behind closed doors this vile oath breaker wants to pass “bipartisan” gun control and he’s reportedly telling other Republicans to shut up and pass it! Just in case you forgot, bipartisan means Republicans roll over and give the Democrats everything they want! The Senate version of the bill contains most of the same garbage the House bill does. Red Flag Laws that are unconstitutional because they ignore due process. Raising the age requirement to 21 for the purchase of a rifle, which has already been struck down by the 9th circuit. Another part of the bill would make straw purchases illegal because these geniuses didn’t know it’s already illegal!
Allegedly, the sellout is because Cornyn wants to be Senate majority leader when Mitch McConnell is gone, and he wants to be known as someone who can reach across the aisle and work together with Dems. Several Republican Senators are asking for more information about the framework of the bill, and they’re being stonewalled by Cornyn.
It appears Senator Cornyn looked around America and saw the open border, the $5 a gallon gas, the 8% inflation, Jan. 6 arrestees rotting in jail – held without bond in violation of the 8th Amendment and thought ‘what this country needs is more gun control!’
If Senator Cornyn wants to do something about gun violence, perhaps he should do something about Soros backed prosecutors allowing violent criminals out of jail to commit more crimes! Just recently a violent recidivist who should have been put away for a long time, murdered two EL Monte, California Police Officers responding to a domestic violence call.
The people of Texas are not happy with Senator Cornyn. He recently appeared at the Texas GOP convention and his speech was drowned out by boos and chants of “No Gun Control!”
This does not look good folks! The Libs & RINO’s are using the tragedy of mass shootings to come hard for your guns before the mid-terms. This time they might succeed!
