The only thing keeping America from turning into a full-blown Banana Republic are guns, and people are buying more of them every day. As a matter of fact, gun buyers set another record in August, purchasing over one million guns! The figures for August continue the record of 1 million guns purchased every month for the last 37 months! The numbers of background checks conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check system (NICS) in August was 2,450,616. When you adjust the figures by removing checks for other reasons, the number of background checks for firearms purchases is 1,286,816! The figures are actually higher because they don’t include private sales.
America is the last bastion of freedom, but our freedoms are progressively shrinking. Liberals across the country, in government and media, are constantly beating the drum for a so-called assault weapons ban. If you closely read the legislation contained in these bills, if passed, the bans would include most semi-automatic pistols and have no grandfather clause. What part of “Shall not be infringed” do liberals not understand?
Recently, the government has upped the anti-2nd amendment war on guns by creating a new credit card code for gun purchases. If you purchase firearms via credit, your credit card company can flag those purchases! You should expect more discrimination as a gun buyer with this new system. Consider using cash for future firearm purchases.
The discrimination trend is expected to continue as government continues to push for more gun control, and crime rates surge as millions of illegal aliens are allowed into the country.
