Tim Walz claims that his gun control proposals are simply common sense.

But the evidence about his plan suggests otherwise.

And one video of Walz that just came out should make gun owners very concerned.

If politicians are going to try to regulate guns, the least they could do is to actually know a thing or two about the guns themselves.

For example, many people, including surely some politicians, believe that an AR-15 is a fully automatic machine gun, despite the fact that it is not.

Many politicians have little to no experience shooting guns, but they know that their left-wing constituents are afraid of them, and that they have to appease those constituents by banning guns.

That is apparently what Tim Walz and Kamala Harris want to do if they are elected to the White House in November.

Walz claims that he knows a little bit about guns because of his time in the military, although he has told a lot of falsehoods about his military service.

And judging by a video that recently came out, he may not actually know very much about guns either.

According to the Washington Times, “Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is facing mockery on social media over video of him grasping to figure out how to load his shotgun on a pheasant hunt in Minnesota.

“Mr. Walz, wearing a hi-viz hunting vest and cap, was shown hunched over his shotgun and appeared to be opening and closing the loading port of the firearm.”

Someone who was in the military would surely know how to operate firearms, and yet Walz seemed to have no idea.

It’s also clear that he had never been hunting before due to his inability to load the gun and his lack of success on the hunt.

The article continues, “Mr. Walz’s explanation about his firearm was the last thing many were talking about. Following the three-hour hunt, CBS News reported Mr. Walz did not shoot a single pheasant.”

“Side-by-side images of the Looney Toons gun-struggling character Elmer Fudd and the Minnesota governor looking at their shotguns appeared on social media, along with an animated gif of Mr. Walz inside the 1980s arcade game ‘Duck Hunt.’”

“Mr. Walz was previously criticized about his handling of firearms when he was questioned about ‘weapons of war that I carried in war’ in 2018. The remark he made alluding to his National Guard service was found to be untrue as he never served in combat.”

It’s obvious to anyone who is paying attention that Walz is trying to be something that he is not.

He desperately wants to be viewed as a sort of “everyman” who lives a normal life and goes on hunts and coaches football, but that’s not who he is.

He is a member of the political elite, he doesn’t understand guns, he never served in combat and he is certainly not an “everyman.”

Unfortunately for gun owners, if Walz gets in office and regulates guns, it appears that he will have no idea what he is doing.
