THE .22 TUC
Now that the terminal ballistics of the .22 LR have been greatly improved, Taurus has introduced a new pocket pistol for Everyday Carry. It features a tip-up barrel a la Beretta Tomcat, making loading quick and easy without racking a slide. It’s lightweight, user-friendly, and great for training, plinking, and personal defense.
The use of small caliber pocket pistols is rising, and Taurus is on board with this new design being produced at its new Bainbridge, Georgia, facility.
THE FRAME
The polymer frame of the TUC keeps the weight down, and the double-action-only trigger is smooth, giving the shooter a consistent pull.
THE SLIDE & BARREL
The TUC slide is stainless steel and is finished in matte black or matte stainless, with fixed front and rear sights for quick target acquisition. Slide serrations are deep and angled for easy slide manipulation. The barrel is stainless steel and has a 1:10-inch RH Twist with six grooves.

THE VERDICT
