Wilson Combat has been around a while.  Founder Bill Wilson was originally trained as a watchmaker, but his infatuation for firearms led him in another direction.  In 1974, Wilson opened up a retail store called Sportsman’s Headquarters in Berryville, Arkansas.  Then, in 1977, came Wilson Combat, which has turned into the largest custom firearm company in the U.S.  Wilson Combat is proud to service all levels of local and state law enforcement including The Department of Homeland Security, US Border Patrol, HQ SOCOM, US Marshal’s Service, US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Diplomatic Security Service, Texas Rangers and many more elite law enforcement and military units worldwide.

Their newest offering is the Wilson Combat – Sig Sauer WCP320.  Wilson took the Sig Sauer P320 and enhanced it.  Actually, they did much more.  Wilson Combat gunsmiths and engineers have completely reworked a Sig Sauer P320 chassis and unfinished Sig manufactured slide into their ideal version of a high performance, perfected striker-fired pistol.  If you were to purchase a gun based only on how cool it looks, this would be the one!

THE FRAME

Wilson Combat engineered their own polymer grip module with input from tactical trainers, competition shooters, and firearms experts.  This newly designed and manufactured grip module has enhanced traction. A beveled magazine well provides smoother reloading, improved pointablity and superb recoil control in dynamic shooting.  This grip turns an already solid platform into an ergonomic shooting machine.  The Sig Sauer flat-faced XFull trigger is standard on the WCP320 and gives shooters a lower finger position on the trigger which increases leverage for a lighter, smoother trigger pull.  The slide stop as well as the magazine release are also factory Sig components.

THE SLIDE

The slide has been machined with the Wilson Combat X-TAC pattern for improved manipulation under stress.  The front and rear cocking serrations, as well as the slide top, wear this signature Wilson Combat pattern.  The slide is also beveled.  The stainless steel slide and chromoly barrel are finished with Wilson’s Black DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) finish
