Smith & Wesson’s new Equalizer Micro Compact pistol is out! It’s got all the features of the Equalizer line in an even smaller package. Let’s take a look!

“The EQUALIZER is a total package micro-compact pistol. Its multi-purpose design allows for a variety of set-up options for use at the range and/or for personal carry, while not compromising on firepower or comfort,” said John Myles, senior manager of new products.

THE FRAME

The Equalizer frame features an 18-degree angle grip for a natural point of aim, with an all-new grip texture that improves carry comfort while ensuring control during firing. The ambidextrous thumb safety, which is optional, and grip safety enable safe cocked & locked carry. Other features include a reversible magazine release and a Picatinny rail for mounting lights & lasers.

THE SLIDE

The Equalizer features Smith & Wesson’s EZ technology, which makes the gun easier to manipulate and lowers the recoil. Other features include an Armornite-finished, stainless steel barrel & slide, with serrations at the front and rear, and a loaded chamber indicator.
