ABOUT CMMG

CMMG was established in 2002 when John, Jeff, Gretchen, and Stephanie Overstreet decided to create a quality AR Rifle that everyone could afford. Since that time, things have continued to get better and better. The company claims, “Although the nature of our business continues to evolve, one thing does not – our commitment to meet each and every morning to pray for God’s wisdom in managing the enormous responsibility that comes with this business. By his grace, we have grown every year! CMMG is constantly looking for ways to improve our products, processes, and the company. Both our customer service and product lineup continue to be second to none, and all our rifles and firearms parts are made in the United States from the best materials available. CMMG guarantees its products against defects in material and workmanship for the product’s life. CMMG Inc. will repair, replace, or substitute any product(s) if a defect in material or workmanship is found.”

THE DISSENT Mk57

Although small and lightweight, the 5.7x28mm cartridge was originally designed to maximize carrying capacity while still delivering rifle-like ballistic performance in a variety of weapon platforms.

The DISSENT® now combines the patent-pending Compact Action with the CMMG® Radial Delayed Blowback™ operating system and Mk57™ platform Lower Receiver to give shooters a combination that’s hard to beat: a PDW that accepts FN®* Five-seveN®* pattern pistol magazines for the ultimate degree of cross-compatibility. The upper receiver uses a Forward Non-Reciprocating side charger instead of the usual charging handle.  A 1913 Picatinny rail end plate allows for a pistol brace or sling.  TriggerTech’s AR-D 2-stage trigger was developed in collaboration with CMMG fully optimize use with DISSENT firearms and upper receiver groups.  With a 4-pound pull, the AR-D trigger showcases a light, repeatable break.  The 6.5 Inch barrel is manufactured from 4140 steel with a 1:9 twist and ½ x 28 threaded.
