ABOUT ANGSTADT ARMS

Angstadt Arms is a small arms firm designing innovative weapons platforms in their Charlotte, N.C. facility. Company President Rich Angstadt is a serial entrepreneur who previously ran a digital marketing agency specializing in SEO. After exiting that company, Angstadt, a longtime firearms enthusiast, wanted a small PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) that ran on Glock mags, but in 2014 that wasn’t available. Angstadt decided to scratch his itch and built the gun he wanted. The Angstadt family has master gunsmiths in its lineage, and his grandfather was impressed with Angstadt’s first gun.

The Angstadt family of gunmakers handcrafted long rifles for over 100 years during the 1700s and 1800s. These guns were a perfect blend of form and function – a work of art that could be used to gather food or defend your family.

The modern Angstadt rifle is no different. Aided by the latest design and manufacturing technologies, each firearm they build is machined from the best materials and equipment and hand-finished by skilled men and women. The result is a beautifully crafted firearm that will hold up to continued hard use and perform when you need it the most.

THE RECEIVERS

The upper receiver is built from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, slick-side, with no forward assist or dust cover. The lower receiver is made from 7075-T6 billet aluminum with flared magwell, an oversized trigger guard, and an extended magazine release.

INTERNAL COMPONENTS

The trigger is an Angstadt Arms EMT-9 PCC finished in nickel Teflon, while the charging handle is an ambidextrous Radian Weapons Raptor LT. The safety is also an ambidextrous Radian Weapons piece.

FURNITURE

It comprises a B5 Systems Bravo stock and pistol grip, a VFG: BCM MOD3 vertical foregrip, and a 15” Aero Precision enhanced Gen2 M-LOK handguard.

THE BARREL AND SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Angstadt starts with a 16-inch precision ported barrel in 4140R chrome-moly steel with a 1-10” twist. The barrel is ported, and if you are shooting subsonic ammo already, you can increase the velocity by closing as many as eight ports.

The suppression system consists of a patented zero baffle design that allows 115-grain ammo to remain subsonic, resulting in no first-round pop, easy maintenance, and no chance for a baffle strike. The outer shroud is manufactured from 316 stainless steel and finished with a high-temperature black Cerakote.
