ABOUT BOND ARMS

Originally organized under the name Texas Armory, the company became incorporated as Bond Arms in 1995 with the idea that the Remington Model 95 over-under, single-action derringer could be converted from an Old West anachronism into a modern defensive handgun. The barrel and frame were redesigned to fire modern calibers safely. The beefed-up double barrels and frames are constructed entirely from stainless steel and shaped with modern manufacturing processes.

Bond Arms is also one of a few manufacturers that still builds exclusively in the U.S. and uses American-made parts for all their handguns, grips, and holsters.

Bond Arms is the largest manufacturer of derringers in the firearms industry.

THE LVRB

The design of the LVRB began after the 2019 SHOT Show when the folks at Bond Arms brainstormed “What if we built a lever gun?” This is what they came up with.

THE RECEIVERS

The lower receiver is a Bond Arms design lever action. They spent over a year redesigning the lever-action system. They developed a short throw cam system that manages to strip full-size rifle cartridges out of a 30-round magazine with no issues. The design gives the LVRB the advantage over other magazine-fed lever action guns chambered in pistol calibers. The lower is fitted with a Magpul SGA 870 buttstock so that any Remington 870-type stock will fit. The magazine release is similar to an AR and is ambidextrous.

Another feature of the lower is a cross-bolt safety, as well as a grip safety that prevents firing if the lever is not depressed. The lever, by the way, is also interchangeable from a standard size to a larger model. The lower mounts to a standard AR-style upper receiver, and a rotating bolt mechanism ensures strength and precision during operation.
