Marianna Wright aka “Karen,” the director of the National Butterfly Preserve in Mission, Texas, saw a National Guard vehicle on the side of the road near McAllen, Texas.  Wright saw that the vehicle was unoccupied and unlocked with an unsecured rifle placed between the front seats.  In my opinion, Wright decided to teach someone a lesson.  She took the rifle from the truck and brought it to her place of employment.  Wright then tweeted the fact that she committed a burglary and a theft of government property, as well as an insult to National Guard personnel.

Don’t get me wrong, the soldier that left the weapon unsecured should be punished under the UCMJ.  To help understand why Wright might have taken the weapon, note that Wright is an activist with dual U.S. – Mexican citizenship, and she does not like the fact that National Guard and Border Patrol officers cross the Butterfly preserve in search of illegal aliens.

Will Ms. Wright be punished?  Just kidding, we know that’s not going to happen!

That’s all for now folks!   Please keep sending in your questions, tips, and article ideas.  And as always – “Let’s Be Careful Out There”
