The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected appeals by gun owners seeking to overturn the federal government’s ban on the sale of bump stocks. The rejected cases were Gun Owners of America v. Garland, as well as Aphosian v. Garland.

The U.S. Supreme Court has made some great decisions lately, or should I say decisions based on the Constitution. The bump stock ban is not one of them.

The decision by President Trump to ban bump stocks via executive order was made after their alleged use by the Las Vegas shooter. (Don’t get me started.) The order basically gave the BATFE carte blanche to execute the bans, which is illegal. The order was disappointing, to say the least, and it’s not going to end there.

Wait until December when the BATFE will rule that arm braces now require an ATF Form 1 and be registered! The memo has already been leaked, and it’s coming.

“This decision sets a horrible and dangerous precedent, one that will allow the ATF to further arbitrarily regulate various firearms. This very same precedent is already being abused by Joe Biden to ban millions of lawfully purchased pistols even without an ACT of Congress!” Gun Owners of America tweeted.

Also bothersome is that this ban brings out a number of so-called, 2nd Amendment types who agree with the decision or think it’s okay. It’s not ok! I have read many comments from gun people who say that bump stocks ‘should be banned,’ ‘there’s no need for them,’ and my favorite ‘We have to give them something or they’ll come after our rifles.’ Here’s a news flash; they are coming after everything.

Years ago, when Florida put an amendment for a 3-day waiting period for firearms purchase on the ballot, I heard many people vote yes, saying that “we have to give them something.” Don’t give them anything! Gun owners give, and liberals take. They never give up anything!

I think that bump stocks are junk, and I don’t want one! If you want one, more power to you.

Florida gun owners led by staunch 2nd amendment advocate and State Representative Anthony Sabatini have failed for the 4th time to pass constitutional carry because RINOs, like Wilton Simpson in the state house, are keeping the carry issue from a vote. I hear gun people saying that open carry is stupid and will lead to gunfighting in the streets. We heard the lies back in the ’80s when concealed carry passed. Once again, open carry for me is a ‘no,’ but if you want to, go ahead. Stop appeasing Libs and RINOs

That’s all for now folks! Please keep sending in your questions, tips, and article ideas. And as always – “Let’s Be Careful Out There.”
