On June 25, 2022 the RINO/Uni-Party sellout of the 2nd Amendment, the U.S. Constitution, and the People was completed as the “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act” was signed into law by the squatter in the Whitehouse – Joe Biden. Senate RINO’s took a knee to the socialists, as usual, and voted to take away more of your rights! The Senate’s top traitor, John Cornyn, is now moving on to ensure amnesty for the illegal aliens flooding into our country.
Make no mistake folks; this has nothing to do with safety; it’s all about control! As with all gun control, or as I call it “Civilian Disarmament” legislation, a few months down the road, we will hear that the bill wasn’t enough. Actually, we heard it as the bill was written!
The bill will supposedly toughen background checks and add a waiting period for gun purchasers under the age of 21. As written, there is a 3 day wait for background checks for purchasers under 21, which, of course, can be extended 10 more days if more time is needed. I’m sure more time will be needed. The Senate funded this $13 Billion dollar dumpster fire with money that we don’t have, claiming most of the funds will go to mental health counseling.
The section of the law that the socialists love the most is, of course, Red Flag Laws! Red flag laws violate due process as well as allow ex-parte gun confiscation! What many people don’t realize is that even though the Police come and take your guns on the word of a 3rd party, the confiscation will be carried out as a civil matter. That means YOU need to get a lawyer, and YOU get to pay that lawyer! This also means many people who don’t have the money for an attorney, will just give up their guns and the police state wins!
Lawsuits are coming as to the Constitutionality of these new laws. We’ll keep Gunpowder readers up to date.
