The Democrat-controlled congress is hiding a number of gun control provisions in H.R. 8256, the FY 2023 Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations bill. Included in the bill are a number of provisions that are unconstitutional and a detriment to gun owners. Liberals and their RINO friends are attempting back-door gun control through the budget process because they can’t get it passed any other way.

Some of the provisions in the bill are:

A massive 13% increase in the BATFE budget. The budget increase is going to be needed to enforce their new pistol arm brace provision. If you haven’t yet heard, the Biden administration has decided your pistol brace will now be a registered NFA item, and there will be no true grandfather clause. Owners of these items will be “allowed” to keep them but will now be required to submit paperwork registering the brace which includes a photo of your pistol with the brace attached, the serial number, your social security number, and your fingerprints. As of now, owners will not be required to pay the $200 tax stamp, but I’m sure that will change.

The United States is beyond broke, but there’s always money for provisions like $40 million for gun confiscation protection orders, and $14 million to update the National Tracing Center, where the government keeps track of firearm serial numbers. There’s also plenty of money for research and studies into Ammunition Background Checks, Gun Control, “Violent Anti-Government Ideology,” and of course, the spice must flow with gun control earmarks to liberal cities and states.

The U.S. government is currently being funded by a continuing resolution. Democrats plan to pass this resolution during a lame-duck session in December before the GOP-controlled congress takes over.

Vote Red and get on the phone with your representatives. Remind them whom they work for and tell them to stop this legislation Now!

That’s all for now folks! Please keep sending in your questions, tips, and article ideas. And as always – “Let’s Be Careful Out There.”
