This was a clear cover-up by the Biden administration.
They were engaged in some nefarious gun control activities and tried to hide it.
But the truth has finally come out and it’s humiliating for Joe Biden.
The Biden administration’s approach to guns has been unprecedented in the sense that they have essentially handed over the keys of the federal government to gun control advocacy groups.
Previous Democrat presidential administrations certainly pushed gun control, but without the same degree of collusion with these various different outside groups.
Republicans in Congress were very interested to find out exactly what has been going on behind the scenes between the White House and these groups.
Rep. James Comer in particular has been trying to gather information from the White House about the role these groups have played in shaping the administration’s gun policy.
But the White House has completely stonewalled him and refused to give him answers to basic questions.
Now the press is reporting on the White House’s refusal to answer Comer’s questions, and it is giving many people the impression that the White House is hiding some ugly secrets.
According to The Hill, “The White House accused House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) of doing the bidding of the gun lobby, pushing back on claims from the Republican that the White House was colluding with gun violence prevention groups in legal matters.
“In a letter first obtained by the Hill, the White House on Monday called on Comer and the House GOP to work with them on gun violence prevention.
“The letter, from deputy counsel to the president Rachel Cotton, was in response to Comer’s letter to the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention on July 14. It said his committee is investigating collaboration between the Biden administration and anti-gun groups that are plaintiffs in pending litigation.”
Comer’s inquiry is reasonable, considering that Joe Biden was elected president, not these shady gun control lobby groups.
It’s reasonable to expect that the person who people voted for would actually be the one running the country.
The article continues, “Comer claimed the White House met with Glock to ask that the company make it harder for parts that could make a gun an automatic weapon be installed. He asked the White House for communication and information on the matter, including interactions with Everytown Law.”
It seems clear that Everytown, which is Michael Bloomberg’s gun control group, had a serious hand in shaping White House policy on this.
The White House was trying to push a top gun manufacturer to change how they assemble guns, and Everytown’s fingerprints were all over this.
That’s what James Comer wanted to get to the bottom of, but despite the fact that Congress has a legitimate role in gathering this kind of information, he was completely shut down by Biden.
Now the tables have turned, however, as Biden is the one who looks bad for withholding information that the public has a right to know.
