For anyone who’s been to a gun store recently, it’s obvious that firearms and ammo are flying off the shelves.

According to Fox News, “The FBI conducted more than 4.3 million gun background checks in January 2021 – the highest number of checks completed during a single month in the agency’s recorded history…”

MagicValley.com reports on data from TacticalGear.com, revealing which states purchased the most from the online retailer. The website notes the “methodology isn’t bulletproof,” but that it’s pretty close to realistic numbers.

According to TacticalGear.com, for every 100 people living in Wyoming, 15 guns were sold. Alabama (14), Alaska (14), Montana (13), and Idaho (12) rounded out the list.

If you’re looking for a place to relocate to, these states sound pretty good. They are, not surprisingly, pretty conservative places (for now), safe and polite with all those guns, and picturesque!

Read the complete stats and findings (impressive stuff!) here.
