FRAME
The amount of work going into the Sphinx frame shows the level of craftsmanship involved with a Sphinx. It starts with a hard coat, anodized, aluminum frame; a high cut, beavertail, beveled, magazine well; and an enlarged trigger guard with high, undercut, railed dust cover. Then they added an ambidextrous decocking lever, interchangeable grip inserts, and a reversible magazine release!
SLIDE
The Sphinx uses the same type of reversed rail interface as the CZ-75. This design has the slide nesting within the frame instead of overhanging it. Front and rear slide serrations give a better grip, and the extractor also serves as a loaded chamber indicator.
