FRAME

The frame on the Carry model is built on a modular chassis, which allows customization by the shooter.  Depending on your mission needs, you can switch the grip frame housing to one of three offerings such as Wolf Grey, OD Green, or Flat Dark Earth (FDE).  The trigger has been redesigned with a shorter and lighter pull that gives it a clean break and fast reset.  You need this for consistent shot placement.  The Carry also features a low-bore axis that produces less felt recoil and a natural point of aim, which dramatically improves follow-up shot acquisition.  The magazine release is reversible for you left-handed folks.  The grip texture is good, but the backstrap is not changeable.  This may be an issue for those of us with big hands, but then again, this is a small pistol.  You have to use what works for your situation.

SLIDE

The slide has been improved with aggressive front and rear slide serrations.  This is welcomed as it makes slide manipulation easier in low light or bad weather scenarios.  The slide comes with three dot dovetail sights and is optics ready.  The buyer receives a mounting plate that’s ready for their choice of red dot manufacturers such as Holosun, C-More, Burris, and Shield.

The Carry is a great addition to your EDC pistol line-up.  It is optics ready and ultra-concealable so you won’t be “printing” when you carry.  Combined with Beretta’s quality manufacturing and its reasonable price point, the Carry is worth considering!

That’s all for now folks!   Please keep sending in your questions, tips, and article ideas.  And as always – “Let’s Be Careful Out There.”
