Kamala Harris could have a serious problem on her hands.

She has been a staunch advocate of taking guns away for years.

But now she is finding out that her gun control plans could be the thing that ends her career.

Democrats have long believed that gun control was one of the hot-button issues they had an advantage on.

But it turns out the truth is not so simple, and gun control might not actually be such a helpful issue for them after all.

Kamala Harris seems to know this, as she has insisted during this campaign that she owns a gun and that she is not an extremist on gun control.

Of course, she hasn’t actually “moderated” on the issue, aside from cosmetic things like sending her VP nominee, Tim Walz, out to go hunting for a photo op.

But the fact that she has tried to reframe her image shows that she knows something about how the general public feels about gun control.

And now a poll has come out showing why she is so nervous about this issue, and how gun control could be the thing that ends her career.

According to Bearing Arms, “Recent polling suggests that the American public isn’t really interested in gun control this election cycle. They’re more focused on things like the economy.”

“In a Fox News poll, respondents reported on which candidate they thought would be better on several issues. On the issue of guns, the poll showed Trump up by six percentage points over Harris.”

If this is true, and gun control contributes to Harris losing, she might never hold public office again.

Candidates who run for president and lose the general election frequently do not return to politics after their loss, although there are some exceptions.

It’s unlikely that Harris would be an exception, however, as she wouldn’t be an elected official of any kind after January and has proven herself to be a bad candidate.

The article continues, “Kamala Harris has a long history of supporting extreme gun control measures. From backing a handgun ban in San Francisco to calling for an assault weapon ban and mandatory ‘buyback’ in 2019, she’s tried to position herself as a gun owner and therefore trustworthy on the issue of guns. Her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, has done the same thing, including saying he could outshoot Marine Corps veteran J.D. Vance.

“She wants the voters to see her as good on guns, all while pushing gun control.”

This goes back to the idea of Harris trying to change her image on guns cosmetically, without actually changing her policy proposals.

She isn’t moderating on the issue, she is just moderating her image so that people see her as someone they can trust who isn’t actually extreme or crazy in any way.

But the fact is, she is still a proponent of gun control, and that has been something she has shown no indication of changing. And the American public apparently is not happy about it.
