The media will go to any length to protect the Biden family.
One gun store owner is learning that the hard way.
The media is targeting this gun store in a desperate attempt to clear Hunter Biden’s name.
Hunter Biden is finally being held accountable after the reckless lifestyle that he lived for so long, but many in the media are not very happy about it.
Since he is a member of the Biden family and the media doesn’t want to hurt Joe Biden’s political chances, they are going out of their way to try to protect him.
This has become tricky in the wake of his conviction on gun charges, an ironic turn of events considering how committed his father is to gun control.
But the solution that the media has come up with appears to be passing the blame on to others.
Instead of putting the blame squarely on Hunter Biden for the lifestyle that he lived, they are instead blaming the store he bought his guns from.
Now they are attempting to smear the gun store in order to make Hunter Biden look a little bit better.
According to The Truth About Guns, “…USA TODAY claims in a recent story that if a Delaware gun shop had ‘done its job’ in 2018, Hunter Biden would never have been able to illegally purchase the .38 Special Colt Cobra revolver, which led to his three felony convictions.”
“The same allegations were first brought up in court by Hunter Biden’s defense team, but Judge Maryellen Noreika correctly pointed out that the gun shop was not on trial.”
It’s outrageous to go after private citizens and small business owners in Delaware instead of one of the most powerful families in America, but that’s exactly what is happening.
The price of protecting the Biden family is apparently taking down a small business and the people who rely on it for their income.
Here is what USA Today said: “By law, handguns can be sold by shops only to state residents, who must provide a government-issued proof of residency, and Biden was not a legal resident of Delaware in 2018. Instead, he offered only a passport, with his name and birthdate.”
The Truth About Guns article continues, “Hunter Biden has yet to be sentenced for lying about his drug use on an ATF Form 4473 and possessing a firearm while addicted to, or using, illegal drugs. He faces up to 25 years in prison, but most court-watchers and pundits say he won’t spend a minute behind bars.”
Hunter Biden apparently will be completely fine, but the innocent people who own the gun store that he bought his guns from may not be after all of this firestorm they’ve been subjected to.
USA Today is a powerful national newspaper that certainly has the influence to put people out of business.
It would be tragic if that happened as a result of this story, but that could happen as the media tries to protect the Biden family.
