Recover Tactical has been manufacturing stabilizer kits for a variety of pistols, all of which have been designed by world-renowned Israeli weapons designer Tamir Porat.

Tamir has more than 15 years in the defense industry, and in the footsteps of Uzi designer Uziel “Uzi” Gal, and Yisrael Galili, designer of the Galil assault rifle, is the designer of the Tavor bullpup rifle used by the Israeli Defense Force!

Recover Tactical is currently producing a glut of accessories for a variety of pistols, such as the 1911, Sig P365, Beretta, Smith & Wesson Shield, and Glock, offering items such as pistol stabilizer kits, charging handles, rail adapters, grip and rail kits, and much more. One example is their PCH slide picatinny rail with charging handle for Glock pistols. The PCH mounts on the back of the slide and gives you a bigger surface area on the slide for better manipulation. On top is a small picatinny rail that allows you to mount an optic without having any machining done. Your pistol becomes optics-ready in a few minutes without any special tools.

New for 2022 is the company’s P-IX Modular AR Platform Stabilizer for Glock pistols. The stabilizer allows the Glock owner to convert his or her pistol into an AR platform that’s compatible with all AR modular accessories, like a pistol grip, arm brace, buffer tube, flip up sights, socks, etc. It’s available in black or tan, and installation is easy. You install the charging system on the pistol slide, open the P-IX, and place your pistol inside the clam shell-like assembly. The kit enables you to run your pistol like an AR platform gun, which helps with muscle memory during training! You can add accessories such as rails, lights, and optics quick and easy, depending on your wishes. You can use it as is, or mount an arm brace, but if using a standard AR collapsible stock, all NFA laws apply.

Please be careful folks: I don’t want anyone running afoul of the BATFE! The agency recently put out a press release regarding a Minnesota man sentenced for possessing two 3D-printed, drop-in auto sears that he sold to an FBI Confidential Human Source (CHS). The man will spend two years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release. Please keep up to date on any changes in the law, particularly as it pertains to the use of an arm brace.
