This is the bombshell that Kamala Harris was hoping wouldn’t get out.

She made a horrific threat about what she would do to people’s guns.

But now the public is learning the details about her threat to send cops into gun owners’ homes.

Kamala Harris is trying to shift her image on the gun issue and run as a “moderate” Democrat who is not an extreme anti-gunner.

Of course, her history betrays her on this, as she has a long track record of taking very radical anti-gun positions.

One very concerning example of that is currently coming to light from her days as the district attorney in the city of San Francisco.

Her track record as D.A. has been heavily scrutinized, including by Tulsi Gabbard in the infamous debate where she essentially tanked Harris’s presidential campaign in 2020.

Now there is even more attention being paid to her tenure as D.A., as a quote has been dug up where she threatens to send cops after gun owners.

This quote is going to seriously undermine her attempt to portray herself as a moderate, as her words were very extreme.

According to The Truth About Guns, “In a Second Amendment bombshell of a story, Fox News on Wednesday reported that Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democrat nominee for president, once said that law enforcement officers could walk into private citizens’ homes and inspect how they were storing their firearms.

“In May 2007, Harris, then San Francisco district attorney, told a group of reporters that the safe storage law being considered by the city’s board of supervisors at the time allowed such an invasion of privacy.”

These words are going to be heard by gun owners all across America, and they will immediately realize how dangerous Harris is for the Second Amendment.

Perhaps she has changed her mind on this issue, but it’s far more likely that her change of tone is just a way to get more votes in the election.

Here’s what Harris said: “We’re going to require responsible behaviors among everybody in the community, and just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn’t mean that we’re not going to walk into that home and check to see if you’re being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs.”

“When we create laws, it’s not only about creating an opportunity, if you will, to prosecute someone for committing a crime, but more importantly, when we legislate our values, it’s about trying to encourage certain types of behavior.”

It’s clear that her way of “encouraging certain types of behavior” was to threaten people with police action until they comply.

The fact that she was willing to treat gun owners that way during her tenure as the district attorney in San Francisco does not bode well for what her presidential administration would look like.

Second Amendment supporters should be keenly aware of Kamala Harris’s background on guns as the presidential election draws ever closer.
