Ugly information keeps coming out about Tim Walz.

It appears he has a serious issue with telling the truth.

And now he has been caught telling a very disturbing lie about guns.

Tim Walz might not have been the right choice for Kamala Harris. He was chosen in a very rushed process after Joe Biden suddenly dropped out.

Harris, by many accounts, had initially wanted to pick Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, but the Palestine activists in her base were not particularly thrilled about that.

In a race with the clock, Harris and her team panicked, and they picked Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, at the last minute.

Walz is not exactly known for his charisma, and it became apparent pretty quickly that he wasn’t a great choice and wouldn’t provide much for the ticket.

But something else became apparent soon after – he has a long history of telling fabrications about himself that are easily disproven.

And one particular whopper that he told about carrying guns on the battlefield got a lot of attention, as Walz had never been on the battlefield in his life.

According to Fox News, “Vice President Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, said he wants to ban guns he ‘carried in war’ though he never saw combat during his time in the Army National Guard and left the service after being informed that his unit would be deployed to Iraq.”

“Walz joined the Army National Guard in 1981, retiring in 2005 from the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery, where he rose to the rank of command sergeant major. Across his more than two decades of service, he never saw combat, according to an interview with Minnesota Public Radio in 2018.”

Walz had to have known that the truth would come out after he made this comment.

After all, we live in an age where information is readily available and people’s claims can be very easily fact-checked on the Internet.

Here is what Walz said in a video that the Harris campaign posted: “I spent 25 years in the Army, and I hunt. I’ve been voting for commonsense legislation that protects the Second Amendment, but we can do background checks. We can research the impacts of gun violence. We can make sure those weapons of war that I carried in war are only carried in war.”

But here is what he said just a few years earlier in an admission that he never saw combat: “I know that there are certainly folks that did far more than I did. I know that. I willingly say that I got far more out of the military than they got out of me, from the GI Bill to leadership opportunities to everything else.”

Kamala Harris and her team should be very concerned that they seem to have picked a running mate who is a loose cannon.

He apparently has a very hard time telling the truth, and his latest deceit about guns is getting a lot of negative attention.
