The anti-gun lobby will be inconsolable when they get this news.
It could be all over for Joe Biden.
His gun control reign of terror may finally be coming to an end.
Being anti-gun has been a centerpiece of Joe Biden’s political career. While he has flip-flopped on a variety of other positions, he has consistently and stridently hated guns.
That’s why, despite his myriad other issues as president, the gun control lobby has been thrilled to have Biden in the White House doing their bidding.
He has even created new offices in the executive branch for the sake of cracking down on the rights of gun owners.
But if the latest reports are any indication, Joe Biden’s gun control reign of terror may be coming to an end, much to the chagrin of his allies in the anti-gun movement.
Biden’s popularity has declined so far that his own party isn’t even on board with him as president anymore, according to the polls.
And if he can’t keep his own party together, then his odds of winning the general election in November appear slim indeed.
According to The Truth About Guns, “Could vehemently anti-gun President Joe Biden’s time in the White House soon be coming to an end? Judging by a wane in support among members of his own party, the president’s four-year war on the Second Amendment just might not be extended to eight, as indicated by a new Rasmussen Poll.”
“Rasmussen recently asked 1,113 likely voters the question: ‘Would you approve or disapprove of Democrats finding another candidate to replace Joe Biden before the election in November?’ More than half—54% to be exact—of Democrats responding answered yes.”
These numbers are unprecedented. No president in recent history, whether Barack Obama or George W. Bush or Bill Clinton or anyone else, has had such little support among their own party.
Democrats may like Biden’s views on gun control, but they seem not to like much else about him and are ready to move on.
The article continues, “Biden’s war on guns, gun owners, and firearms manufacturers and retailers has been a thorn in the side of the Second Amendment since he took office in January 2021. From the first day Biden has sought to ban so-called ‘assault weapons,’ outlaw the private sale of firearms and repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce In Arms Act (PLCAA), which protects gun makers and sellers from frivolous lawsuits over the criminal misuse of their legally made, lawfully sold products.”
Joe Biden has been one of the most anti-gun presidents of all time, and if he loses his seat in office, he will not be missed by gun owners.
But through a series of mishaps as president, his popularity has declined significantly, to the point where he seems to be an underdog in 2024.
And the more reports come out like this about his declining standing not only in the polls, but within his own party, the more likely it seems that he is on his last legs as president.
