The National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) is speaking out in support of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who has been charged with murder resulting from participation in a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Dudley Brown, NAGR president, issued the following statement to supporters:

As I type this, the National Foundation for Gun Rights and our lawyers are working around the clock to defend a gun rights supporter being unjustly prosecuted for murder.

I am talking about Kyle Rittenhouse.

On August 25th, Kyle was in Kenosha, WI helping defend honest Americans and their businesses as they were under threat from rioters and violent thugs.

Right now, entire businesses are literally being burned, with people forced to flee in fear for their lives.

Vicious rioters in the streets have shown NO MERCY to innocent bystanders — armed with Molotov cocktails, batons, and an assortment of weapons.

While protecting businesses and fellow Americans, Kyle used his AR-15 to defend himself from aggressive, violent thugs!

And now he’s been arrested and held on murder charges!

Patriot, details about the case are still emerging, but the massive legal battle being launched against Kyle could prove critical for the future of the Second Amendment and all self-defense cases.

Initial footage shows Kyle literally running for his life to escape oncoming attackers!

Unable to escape the barrage of attacks, he reacted as any reasonable person might — by using his rifle to defend his life. Two of the attackers died.

While evading an explosive device hurled at his feet, and then lying on his back while being beaten by a mob, Kyle successfully defended himself, and now anti-gun prosecutors want to lock him in jail and throw away the key.

A young man, standing up for himself and innocent Americans, exercising his God-given right to keep and bear arms, is sitting alone in jail.

The media is against him, and mobs are now turning their attention against his family. He NEEDS our help.

Right now, pro-gun attorneys for the National Foundation for Gun Rights are looking to ensure Kyle Rittenhouse has the resources needed to mount a solid defense.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson is facing censure from the left, as he often does, for noting:

“Are we really surprised that looting and arson accelerated to murder? How shocked are we that 17-year-olds with rifles decided they had to maintain order when no one else would?”
