A 68-year-old Texan grandmother known as “Granny Jean” shot a man who entered her Houston home and exposed himself to her while she was taking care of her disabled grandson.

“Some guy pulled off his pants and pulled his pants open, playing with his thing, and he ran up and I told him to get away from my door, or I will shoot him,” Granny Jean said in an interview with KTKR.

“He kept coming and kept coming, reached for my door after it was locked, and so I shot through the door,” she said.

“The man was struck in the chest by a bullet,” KTKR reported. “…Police say the 38-year-old man had to have surgery, but he’s expected to be okay. The suspect is no stranger to police.”

“I don’t bother nobody,” Granny Jean told the news station. “I don’t get in nobody’s business. It’s just me and him, and like I keep saying, I warned him.”

Granny Jean is not likely to be the target of any more unwanted visits. She said of other would-be intruders: “They better stay away.”
