WEE1 Tactical is at the SHOT Show with its JR-15 AR pattern rifle. While the JR-15 looks like America’s rifle, that is where the similarity ends. The JR-15 is a single-shot, blowback version geared toward smaller enthusiasts due to its small size, lightweight, rugged polymer construction, and ergonomics. It’s a great first rifle that can be used for training little ones in the shooting sports.

Safety was so much at the forefront of WEE1 Tactical’s thought process that they developed and patented a tamper-resistant safety that puts the adult in control of the firearm’s safety switch. The switch itself requires strength and dexterity to release. When the tamper-resistant safety is engaged, the standard safety switch on the rifle cannot be released, thus adding a level of safety found on no other firearm of any size. Always remember that the most critical safety feature of any youth firearm is the adult supervising all activity.

The all-polymer receiver reduces weight and makes the JR-15 come in at about 2.5 pounds loaded. And because it’s 20% smaller than full-sized platforms, the rifle is easier for the little people in your family to shoot.
