Fabrique National has added plenty of new features in a redesign of its legendary Five-SeveN. It’s equipped with optics-ready capabilities, enhanced ergonomics, and improved controls. It is available in both matte black and flat dark earth (FDE) with a standard capacity of 20 rounds.

The FN Five-seveN pistol has been immensely popular since its introduction. Its original design capturing the performance of the FN designed 5.7x28mm cartridge made it an instant success, and it’s positioned to do it yet again with the dynamic redesign of the FN Five-seveN MRD. with the addition of an integral optics mounting system on the slide, an already accurate pistol now redefines what handgun accuracy means. We’re truly excited to bring this new pistol to market with features our customers want in their favorite FN caliber.
THE FRAME
It has an all-new frame design with a reshaped backstrap, improved grip ergonomics and texturing for superior control. It also has a 5-slot Picatinny rail molded into the dust cover for lights and other accessories as well as a crisp trigger with a 6-pound, 2-ounce pull. It’s also equipped with an oversized ambidextrous safety and reversible magazine release for the lefties out there.
THE SLIDE
It has a factory-machined optics cut slide (with polymer cover) for mounting optics quickly without a gunsmith as well as aggressive slide serrations with an enhanced slide cover, which improves cocking control. It also features a cold hammer forged, target crowned, match grade, 4.8-inch barrel along with raised iron sights that will co-witness with most Red Dot optics.
