Daniel Defense is a family-owned and privately held firearms manufacturer in Black Creek, Georgia. Founded in 2001 by President/CEO Marty Daniel, the company started from Marty’s vision to create custom accessories for his M-16 rifle.

An avid sportsman and supporter of the 2nd Amendment, Marty Daniel committed himself to produce a product unmatched in quality and precision. Just 18 years later, Marty Daniel’s concept has evolved into one of the most recognizable brands in the firearms world, manufacturing the world’s finest AR-15 rifles, rail systems, and accessories for civilian, law enforcement, and military customers.

Today, with a combined 300,000 sq. feet of manufacturing space, Daniel Defense has maintained a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Daniel Defense has partnered with the most trusted names in firearms to build the Signature Series. Daniel Defense has handpicked partners – many of whom you have come to know and trust, who share their passion and values to design their Signature firearm. From barrel to buttstock, optics, lights, slings, triggers, Cerakote, and more – they dream it, and Daniel Defense builds it.

The WPSM4A1 was designed by John Lovell of the Warrior Poet Society to be your go-to, do-it-all rifle – chambered in 5.56mm NATO.

Warrior Poets are protectors who train and fight for a higher purpose – with intellect, conviction, and great skill.

John Lovell is a best-selling author and the founder of the Warrior Poet Society. After his military service with the 2nd Ranger Battalion, he served as a full-time Christian missionary in Central America. Today, he is a video content creator, public speaker, firearms trainer, and homesteader. John lives on a small farm in Georgia with his wife and two sons.

At Daniel Defense, all upper and lower receivers are manufactured from 7075-T6 forged aluminum, and the first-ever OD Green Cerakote finish sets the WPSM4A1 apart from any DD currently on the market.

The internals include a Radian Raptor charging handle, a Radian Talon 45-degree safety, and a Geissele trigger.

A 14.5-inch cold hammer forged barrel with a pinned and welded Surefire Warcomp muzzle device keeps the flash down, and it’s ported to keep the muzzle down while shooting. The Warcomp also accepts direct mounting of a suppressor.

The Warrior Poet Society starts with the classic Daniel Defense buttstock and handgrip.

The heavy-duty RIS III 12.5-inch free float M-LOK handguard is known for its SOCOM legacy, and its rock-solid 6-bolt mounting system is enhanced by Railscales components like the Karve-P handstop, which makes for comfortable and familiar ergonomics.

A Holosun 515 GM sits atop the Unity FAST Micro Mount, so shooters can quickly acquire and keep shots on target time after time.
