THE RECEIVERS
The Omni Hybrid Pistol features metal-reinforced polymer upper and lower receivers with over-molded metal inserts to reinforce the buffer tube housing and the front & rear takedown pins, a patented hammer and trigger pin retainment design that prevents movement of the hammer and trigger pin during firing. The receivers are finished in battlefield green, with the upper featuring an optics-ready flat top, while the lower features a beveled magazine well and an enhanced trigger guard.
ATI uses a Nano composite parts kit on the Omni Hybrid. The trigger, hammer, ambidextrous safety selector, mag release, and other internals are made from a composite material that has the strength of steel but at half the weight.
This may or may not be an issue for long-term use, but for those who don’t like composite internals, you can replace them and customize the pistol to your liking. Be honest; you were going to add many high-speed accessories to this pistol anyway.
THE BARREL & FURNITURE
The Omni Hybrid barrel is 7.5 inches long with a 1:7 twist and nitride finish. It features a low-profile gas block and a 7-inch Key-Mod free-floating aluminum rail for your choice of mounting lights and lasers. The Omni comes with a black polymer pistol grip, and aftermarket AR grips can be added later if desired.

THE VERDICT
