FedEx has apparently joined the growing list of companies kowtowing to the gun control lobby.
Nbcnews.com reports:
[Gays Against Guns] staged monthly direct actions by protesting and distributing fliers outside FedEx stores across the country, and also staged a 26-hour, nonstop protest outside the company’s corporate offices in Manhattan in the spring of 2018.
…So when FedEx announced Monday that it was ending its business partnerships with many organizations — including the NRA — GAG claimed victory.
Prior to GAG’s protests, FedEx offered a 26 percent discount to NRA members shipping a firearm. A FedEx spokesman said in a statement, however, that GAG’s two years of anti-gun activism was not the reason for the company’s recent “transition,” but rather cited a lack of “shipping volumes to sustain a dedicated program.”
Gunpowder Magazine has reported on Amazon, Bank of America, City Group, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Levi-Strauss, Wal-Mart, and others joining the corporate anti-gun movement. To be alerted to anti-gun businesses to boycott, click here to sign up.
