Something very scary is underway.

It could be an absolute gun control nightmare for countless people.

And Elizabeth Warren is going to have some hard questions to answer about this.

The state of Massachusetts has already passed some of the strictest gun control laws in the entire country, but activists there are still not satisfied with how extreme the laws are.

This is in spite of the fact that a new set of gun control laws was just passed in 2024 which heavily restricted gun owners.

The sponsor of that bill, Rep. Michael Day, is pushing for yet another new set of gun control laws, and it’s not clear that he is ever going to stop pushing things in a more extreme direction.

Republicans in the state, such as Rep. Marc Lombardo who is widely considered the most conservative member of the legislature, will surely be pushing back against this new scheme.

And the state’s senior U.S. senator, Elizabeth Warren, is going to have some tough questions to answer about whether this attack is ever going to stop, or if the state will try to truly ban all guns.

According to The Truth About Guns, “Massachusetts already ranks among the most restrictive states when it comes to gun laws, but for some, it’s still not enough.

“On March 26, gun control activists from Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action gathered in Boston for an Advocacy Day event.”

“The activists are backing legislation from State Sen. Cynthia Creem (D-Newton) aimed at holding gun manufacturers and sellers ‘accountable’ for crimes committed with their products—echoing a broader national push to sidestep federal protections under the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act.”

One of the speakers at this rally was Day, who was responsible for the last draconian gun control bill that got through the legislature and was signed by Governor Maura Healey.

Day is clearly on a mission, and it’s not clear if there is a limit at all to how far he is willing to go to rid the state of guns.

The article continues, “State Rep. Michael Day (D-Stoneham), who chairs the Judiciary Committee and authored the sweeping 2024 gun control bill, spoke at the event. The law he championed includes a ban on so-called ‘ghost guns,’ mandates live-fire training for gun license applicants, allows healthcare professionals to initiate red flag orders, and imposes additional restrictions on public carry.”

“Day positioned the law as necessary to ‘protect’ not only children and teachers but also ‘gun owners themselves.’”

Blue states have gotten very extreme in the last couple of years in their attacks on the Second Amendment, as evidenced by what just happened in Colorado.

And if Elizabeth Warren still has presidential ambitions, she is going to have to answer the question of whether she supports these ever-escalating attacks, and how far she thinks they should go.

The Supreme Court is clearly going to have to step in yet again to clarify that blue states cannot simply decide to wipe out an entire amendment to the Constitution.
