ABOUT GIRSAN
Turkish Firearms manufacturer Girsan was founded in 1993 in Giresun, Turkey, and has produced quality firearms for police and military units. They partnered with Florida-based firearms importer European American Armory (EAA) to bring their product line to America.
The Turkish Armed Forces and police carry Girsan pistols, and they’re the gun of choice for several Turkish government agencies. It is also the sidearm for the Malaysian Special Forces Command and several other international military and law enforcement agencies.
Girsan products are well known worldwide and are exported to more than 50 countries. Two of their most popular models are the P35, based on the Browning Hi Power, and the Regard, a Beretta 92-type pistol. In 2019, Girsan developed its MC9 polymer-framed pistol.
Girsan has grown dramatically in the last few years due to its continued modernization and commitment to producing quality firearms.
THE MC9 DISRUPTOR
At the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) 2023 event, EAA and Girsan unveiled various new products, including the MC9 Disruptor.
The MC9 is designed to “disrupt” the industry with its exceptional features and unprecedented affordability.

THE FRAME
One of the features of this polymer-framed pistol is the Enhanced Striker Trigger: The MC9 Disruptor boasts an upgraded striker trigger, delivering a smooth and responsive shooting experience. A Picatinny rail-equipped dust cover for lights and lasers, and the MC9 will be available in two Cerakote finishes: OD Green Camo and Black Camo.
THE SLIDE & BARREL
The slide has low-profile sights and is factory-cut to accommodate optics with an RMS/RMSc footprint, ensuring quick target acquisition. The barrel is threaded to accommodate suppressors or other types of muzzle devices.

THE VERDICT
Many features are still secret, so keep an eye out for the debut in 2024. One thing is for sure. You will be hard-pressed to find a better price point on a pistol of this quality with this many features.
