B&T, formerly known as Brügger und Thomet, was formed in 1991 by Karl Brugger and Heinrich Thomet. B&T is based in Thun, Switzerland, and was initially a manufacturer of firearms parts and accessories for several manufacturers, and B&T produces suppressors for H&K. According to their profile, B&T owns over 500 different types of firearms to engineer accessories for them. In 2004 they unleashed their outstanding engineering department and started producing weapons like the MP9 submachine gun, its civilian counterpart, the TP9, the APR sniper rifle, and a 40mm grenade launcher. B&T has evolved into a manufacturer of some of the world’s finest tactical firearms systems.

8.6 mm Blackout, also called 8.6 BLK or 8.6 Creedmoor, is a centerfire rifle cartridge developed by the firearms manufacturer Q, LLC. It utilizes a shortened case from the 6.5mm Creedmoor necked to an 8.6 mm caliber projectile.
