B&T, formerly known as Brügger und Thomet, was formed in 1991 by Karl Brugger and Heinrich Thomet. B&T is based in Thun, Switzerland, and was initially a manufacturer of firearms parts and accessories for several manufacturers, and B&T produces suppressors for H&K. According to their profile, B&T owns over 500 different types of firearms to engineer accessories for them. 8.6 mm Blackout, also called 8.6 BLK or 8.6 Creedmoor, is a centerfire rifle cartridge developed by the firearms manufacturer Q, LLC. It utilizes a shortened case from the 6.5mm Creedmoor necked to an 8.6 mm caliber projectile.
