American Tactical Inc. of Summerville, South Carolina will be importing these bad boys from Germany soon, and they are pretty sweet. German Sport Guns has been producing their 22 LR MP-5-type pistols for some time, and now they’ve got a 9mm version that has MP-5 looks at a great price.
The new GSG-9 pistol features a hammer forged barrel with a flash suppressor, and adapter for suppressor. It’s built on an aluminum frame that uses interchangeable magazine well adapters for SIG P320 and Glock 9mm Magazines. While the charging handle is on the left side of the receiver like an MP-5, you won’t be able to do the HK “Slap!”
On top there’s a full-length Picatinny rail for optics, but it comes standard with integral iron sights. The end cap is ready for quick detachable slings or optional sliding or folding stock if you want a short-barreled rifle.
The forend is set up with M-LOK slots, and the pistol features ambidextrous controls for the lefties out there.
Magazine Capacity: 33 with factory Glock Magazines, 21 with factory Sig P320 Magazines
Sights: Integral iron sights with full-length Picatinny rail
Barrel Length: 7.5 inches
An MP-5-type pistol for $750 that uses magazines from two extremely popular pistols, what a deal! These pistols are coming soon, so save your money and check one out when they arrive.
That’s all for now folks! Please keep sending in your questions, tips, and article ideas. And as always – “Let’s Be Careful Out There.”
