The ATF could have a major problem on their hands.

Congress is on their trail and is not letting them off the hook.

And this could turn out to be a huge breaking point for the ATF.

For years, the ATF has run wild with very little accountability, as they have been protected by anti-gun politicians who support their mission.

The fact that so many of their activities directly violate the Constitution has not stopped them from cracking down on gun owners and the gun industry in an effort to disarm the country.

But the pressure has been slowly building on them, and leaders in Congress are finally realizing that their constituents expect them to hold the ATF accountable.

That is exactly what they have started doing, and this is bad news for the ATF and their agenda.

Congress has subpoenaed the ATF and the White House to find out exactly what has been going on behind the scenes with their gun control crackdown.

And if the truth that comes out is as ugly as many people expect it could end up being very harmful for the ATF.

According to The Truth About Guns, “The House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), has issued subpoenas to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention as part of an investigation into potential collusion between the Biden administration and gun control groups. The inquiry is centered around the pending litigation City of Chicago v. Glock, with allegations that the White House coordinated with anti-Second Amendment plaintiffs.”

Comer has proven himself to be a dogged investigator who gets to the bottom of things, and he is the last person the ATF wants to deal with in this case.

They are going to be sadly mistaken if they think they can hide any information from him in this investigation.

The article continues, “Chairman Comer expressed serious concerns about a private meeting held on Dec. 20, 2023, between the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention and Glock representatives. According to Comer, the administration pressured Glock to modify its pistol designs.”

“The subpoenas demand all communications between the White House office, ATF and gun control organizations, including Everytown for Gun Safety, related to issues like ‘auto sear’ devices and the ongoing litigation involving Glock. The Committee also seeks records of communications between White House staff and Everytown’s president, John Feinblatt, as well as private messaging logs involving Deputy Director Rob Wilcox.”

The fact that the ATF would collude with gun control lobbying groups should be surprising to exactly no one, and yet up until now, they have not been held accountable for this whatsoever.

But things are changing, and their attempts to undermine the Constitution could be tough sledding for them going forward if Congress doesn’t let up.

James Comer and other congressional Republicans are finally taking action to make sure that the ATF can’t run roughshod over the freedoms of Americans.
