Kamala Harris has some scary plans for the Second Amendment.

She will likely end up being the most anti-gun president in history.

And one report about her gun control plans will send chills down the spine of gun owners.

While Kamala Harris has taken to downplaying her gun control plans as she tries to appeal to a more moderate segment of the electorate, she is still a radical on the issue.

She has taken some very extreme stances on guns in the past and there is little evidence to believe that she has changed her mind on any of it.

Of course, it’s hard to know for sure, as it’s unclear what Harris actually believes on any issue, since all of her positions seem to be fungible based on her political ambitions.

Nonetheless, putting her in the White House would be a major risk for the Second Amendment given how extreme she has been on the issue during her career.

And one chilling report shows just how far her gun control agenda really goes, despite her protestations that she isn’t actually trying to take people’s guns.

According to The Trace, “Harris has made the prevention of gun violence a key focus of her campaign. As we’ve reported, the Democratic nominee has backed gun safety regulations throughout her political career, and she has taken a prominent role in the Biden administration’s gun policy work.

“Specifically, since its launch in September 2023, Harris has overseen the first White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, intended to coordinate federal efforts.”

“Earlier this year, Harris also announced the creation of a resource center to support the carrying out of Extreme Risk Protection Order laws. ERPOs, more commonly known as red flag laws, are meant to temporarily disarm people deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.”

Taking all this into account, it is reasonable to conclude that some form of federal red flag laws might be coming down the pike.

This should be extremely worrying as these laws are quite vague and can be used against any gun owner who seems “off” in any way, even if they aren’t really a threat to society.

The article continues, “Harris has received endorsements from all of the major gun reform organizations, including March For Our Lives, Giffords, and the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.”

The fact that Harris has not renounced the support of some of these extreme gun control groups throws doubt into her insistence that she is actually a moderate on the issue of guns.

A moderate wouldn’t be accepting help and support from the most extreme members of the gun control lobby as Harris has been since her campaign started.

It seems more likely that Harris is simply trying to position herself in such a way that doesn’t scare off swing voters in places like Western Pennsylvania.

Perhaps this repositioning will last into her term as president if she is elected, but there is simply no way to know for sure.
