After a spate of shootings perpetrated by the left, “Resident” Biden has renewed his call for an assault weapons ban. Biden recently made an appearance at a Nantucket fire station on Thanksgiving morning and repeated his call for a ban on military-style “Assault Weapons,”

“The idea that we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick,” “It has no, no social redeeming value. Zero. None. Not a single solitary rationale for it except profit for the gun manufacturers.”

Biden’s statement came two days after a manager at a Walmart store in Virginia opened fire on his co-workers, killing six and leaving several others wounded. The shooter, 31-year-old Andre Bing, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police said Bing used handguns, which illustrates Biden’s true goal of banning all weapons. I’m sure Gunpowder readers remember Biden’s rant about banning 9mm pistols a few months back even.

The Walmart shooting comes a few days after gunman Anderson Aldrich 22, murdered five people and injured over two dozen more at Club Q, a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs. Patrons prevented more deaths by attacking and disarming Aldrich. The weapon used was an AR pattern-style weapon.

Colorado Springs Police Chief, Adrian Vasquez, was quick to jump on the assault weapons ban narrative. Perhaps he should be demanding to know why Aldrich was in possession of a weapon when he is a prohibited possessor. Aldrich threatened his mother with a homemade bomb back in June of 2021. Why didn’t prosecutors take steps to prosecute or prohibit him from firearms purchases?

Biden may try to pass some type of ban during the lame-duck session. If not, then expect something next year. The Democrats have stolen the senate with the help of the media and Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell, so expect the filibuster rule to be thrown out. When that happens, all manner of unconstitutional legislation will be pushed through.

More new gun laws accomplish nothing when the old laws are not enforced. But, as we all know, it’s never about the guns, it’s about control!

They’re coming for your guns folks!

That’s all for now folks! Please keep sending in your questions, tips, and article ideas. And as always – “Let’s Be Careful Out There.”
