Innocent people are going to lose everything because of Biden’s anti-gun agenda.
He is punishing gun store owners who didn’t do anything wrong.
And now they may have to shutter their doors and lose their livelihoods.
Joe Biden’s goal since the day that he took office as president has been to shut down the gun industry in America.
He knows that he won’t be able to formally undo the Second Amendment, since the legal framework that it rests upon is simply too strong.
Passing gun control through Congress will be extraordinarily difficult, as the Senate still requires 60 votes for cloture on all legislation.
And he also knows that states with heavily gun-owning populations are not going to pass gun control anytime soon, at least not to the extent that he desires.
That’s why his strategy is to use the ATF to target gun manufacturers and gun stores so aggressively that they simply shut down, and guns are no longer available virtually anywhere.
Biden still has a long way to go to accomplish this goal, but he is off to a fast start, and many innocent gun store owners are now at risk of losing their livelihoods.
According to USA Today, “The federal government has stepped up its scrutiny of gun stores that sell guns used in crimes, with the number of stores singled out more than doubling in the past four years.
“Which gun stores sell the most crime-linked guns has been kept secret for more than two decades, since 2003 under the George W. Bush administration. But a Freedom of Information Act request from USA TODAY unearthed a glimpse of them.”
Of course, when a gun store sells a gun, they have no idea what the person is planning to do with it. Most of the people who buy guns do so for peaceful self-defense purposes.
These gun stores have done nothing wrong, but the Biden administration is going out of their way to target them, and possibly force them to shut down.
The article continues, “The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, more commonly known as the ATF, targeted more than 1,300 outlets in 2023. These shops range from some of the largest sellers, like Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, to local stores throughout the United States.”
“Biden has justified the release of the list by claiming the included gun dealers have gone ‘rogue.’”
While there are certainly some gun dealers in America who have done things wrong, simply releasing a list of everyone who has sold guns to criminals is inevitably going to include numerous businesses that didn’t intend for their guns to be used in that way.
This is nothing more than an attempt by the Biden administration to intimidate gun store owners.
They are hoping that this fear campaign will scare people away from wanting to participate in the gun industry.
And if they succeed, then people who want to buy guns for their own personal protection may have nowhere to turn to.
