The world watched in stunned silence as Biden seized full control.

He had this plan in the works for years.

And he unleashed a sudden attack on gun rights that no one was prepared for.

Joe Biden has had his eye on gun control since the moment he took office as president. He thinks gun rights are dangerous and unnecessary and he wants to take them away.

After the shooting in Uvalde, Texas, there was enormous pressure on him from the left to act on his anti-gun promises.

Biden was eager to do just that, but he had to devise a realistic strategy to make it happen. After all, Congress is deadlocked, and the Supreme Court has made clear that it will protect the Second Amendment.

That’s why Biden decided to just simply override Congress and the courts and seize full power by using the ATF to do his bidding and attack the rights of gun owners.

The ATF released a new “rule” that will close the supposed “gun show loophole” that anti-gun activists and politicians have been droning on about for years.

According to Politico, “The Biden administration is moving to expand background checks for gun purchases, fulfilling a key demand of advocates following the deadly shooting at a school in Uvalde, Texas.

“The final rule, expected to be submitted Thursday to the Federal Register by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, would eliminate a loophole that has allowed sales of guns without background checks of guns outside of brick-and-mortar stores.

“The rule was issued under a provision of the 2022 Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. It requires that anyone who sells guns for profit to have a license and that buyers be subject to a background check, including at firearms shows and flea markets. The administration had been working on the rule since last spring. Once publicized, it will take effect in 30 days.”

Of course, the terms here are misleading, and what Biden is really trying to do is make it near-impossible for gun owners to lend or sell guns to their friends without committing a felony.

The article continues, “The final rule comes a year after the president issued an executive order directing Attorney General Merrick Garland to develop and implement a plan to clarify the definition of ‘engaged in business.’ The Department of Justice issued the proposed rule in September. The administration has also made an effort to release previously undisclosed firearms data, offering a fuller picture of the illegal firearms market in the U.S.”

Biden has clearly given up on trying to find a way to enact gun control in a way that squares with our republican system of government or the Constitution.

He is just using the executive branch to seize full control and implement his will without any checks and balances from another branch.

This goes completely against how the American system of government was set up, but Biden and the gun control lobby are more concerned about taking people’s rights away.
