Gunpowder Magazine stopped by the Sig Sauer booth at the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) Show 2019. Here’s what they had to tell us about this year’s newest items:
New for 2019, we’re offering a manual safety version of the P365. We launched the 365 in January of last year, and it’s been a smash hit. We’ve been shipping them as fast as we can make them, so now for 2019, we’re offering them with a manual safety.
These will be shipping in the spring. It hold 10 plus one. We designed the magazine first – it’s patent pending. It’s a double stack near the bottom, then it tapers up to be a single-stack. So your first three rounds or so will be like a single, it’s double near the bottom.
In a size format that just about everyone else has done, ours is 10 plus one. It is either smaller or equal to the Glock 43 in every dimension.
We also have the P239 and P938 Legion. Those are the Legion versions of our 238 and 938 pistols. We’ve taken all of our Legion features – XRAY3 sights, they have extended magwells on them, too.
We also have our TREAD rifle, which we launched a couple months ago. We have that in various configurations. And our other big star is the 320 X compact, which is the first time we’ve brought X-series features to a combat size. Entirely newly designed grip module. Very ergonomic. Fast-back design so it doesn’t snag on anything. And a new sight plate to accommodate a ROMEO2 Optic, which we also have at this show.
This is also the first time we’ve ever shown off our new belt-fed .338 machine gun. That’s more on the military side of the market.

P365 NITRON MICRO-COMPACT
Introducing the game changing P365. Micro-compact everyday carry size with unprecedented 10+1 full-size capacity. The P365 is striker-fired, with the clean crisp trigger pull you expect from a SIG. P239, P938

The excellent handling characteristics of the P239 are the result of engineering we call "performance engineering" and it’s one of the keys to all SIG SAUER pistols. The P239 is available in three calibers (9mm, .357SIG or .40S&W) offering you the choice that’s right for you.
The LEGION P938 features the distinctive LEGION Gray finish in Cerakote® Elite. The P938 Legion includes a new precision machined aluminum trigger and aggressive trigger guard checkering along with an ambidextrous thumb safety allowing for easy manipulation and accuracy. The slide features front cocking serrations and X-RAY3 Day/Night sights. The grips are Legion Black G-10 grips with an embedded Legion medallion. The P938 Legion comes with an extended magwell ready to accept magazines for faster reloads.
SIGM400 TREAD Rifle
The M400 TREAD is an optics ready, aluminum frame rifle. TREAD features a 16” stainless steel barrel with a free-floating M-LOK handguard, a single-stage polished/hard-coat trigger, ambidextrous controls, a Magpul™ SL-K 6 position telescoping stock, a mid-length gas system, and is available in 5.56 NATO.

P320 X Compact
Everything about the P320 X-Series is designed to give a fantastic shooting experience. Now, it’s available in Carry size. The P320 X-Series features a modular polymer X-series grip that adds speed and flexibility to everyday carry capabilities. It also features an extended beavertail and high undercut trigger guard to promote a higher grip and improved recoil control. Enhanced slide serrations and lightening cuts keep the slide weight light and manageable. This striker-fired pistol comes equipped with an X-Ray front sight with Night Sight rear plate. The P320 X-Carry is fully compatible with the ROMEO1 optic and comes with three (3) 17-rd magazines. For those that prefer the look and feel of the P320 X-Series but desire the functionality of a slightly shorter slide, the P320 X-Carry hits all the right spots.
